I haved the run sheet, but mostly because I hated the math of it at the ass crack of dawn with Stan standing over me cracking his whip, complaining that I'm not only sucky at math, but that I'm dyslexic. I would tell him to piss off, and sure enough, in the timing him in and out of each show, I would start my counts as follows:

Me: And in ten... nine... eight... seven... six... seven... eight - er, I mean, FOUR... THREE... TWO... ONE!!

Control booth members: *turning to me with stares of disbelief*

Stan: *throwing me the stink eye, yet again*

*snicker*

Sue,
I *really* like the runsheet idea ... take a proven best practice from one business & adapt it to another. It's one of my favourite "innovation" techniques.

Your post also reminded me of another fav. saying in my collection, "you're responsible for your own *reactions* [to events]". We're responsible for setting our priorities, and what we choose to be busy with.

Sounds like you've got your weekend "busy" well in hand.

cheers,
Andrew
