		<description>Same here...Vista was terrible on my Gateway I bought in 2007...immediately downgraded to XP.  But just tried the 7 release candidate....its great!</description>

However, I&#039;m confused by the link you provided because it links to a post from two months previous saying the issue had been fixed. http://blogs.msdn.com/brada/archive/2009/02/27/uninstalling-the-clickonce-support-for-firefox.aspx.

I have installed all of the current updates for Win7 and have now installed Firefox and the . NET framework add on is not appearing in my list anyway, so I personally am not experiencing the issue.

I appreciate people&#039;s security concerns when it comes to Windows. I have them too, but I also pride myself on being one of those people that plays it smart, taking as many precautions as necessary. I&#039;m also not saying MS is perfect by any stretch. I&#039;m just glad to see they are finally starting to listen to their customers and implement some positive changes to the experience.
