I made this choice years ago, I left a very successful career as a creative director to start my own company and I have to say it was the best decision ever. It's not as "safe" as the 9 to 5 at first, but the opportunities and abundance that followed really blew my mind. And continue to do so. You made the right choice! Frank Congrats on quitting! But that didn't prevent me from finding a great outlet outside of the corporate machine! :) It took me 4 years to get out but now that I'm out, working for a small company, it feels great! Thursday I resigned from the company I've been with for 9 years and am going off on my own as an independent consultant in the Information Technology industry. Like you, after the initial panic has worn down, I am sure this is the right decision.
